In a personal interview, find out the behavior, problems and wishes of users.
In a personal user interview you can find out the behavior, problems, needs, thoughts and wishes of users relating to a situation, product, service or any other topic.
Before the interview, the framework conditions should be discussed with the interviewee. An interview should not take more than an hour. If the interviewee feels uncomfortable, you have to be able to break off (and communicate in advance as an option). Further questions should be asked if it is necessary to clarify a question.
Audio / video recording and someone who keeps track is helpful. If interviews are carried out in the user's personal daily environment, a structured field research (Contextual Inquiry) will be carried out.
